Account Deletion Request

HeartSpot allows all users to request the deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request account deletion

To delete your HeartSpot account, please email your request directly to our support team:

⚠️ Please ensure you send the request from the exact same Google account that you used to sign in to HeartSpot.

Data that will be deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete the following elements from our active datastores:

• Google account ID and display name
• Email address and profile photo
• Active connection/link to your partner
• Relationship-related app data including streaks, memories, reactions, and shared couple activities

This data is completely wiped from our database and cannot be recovered after deletion.

Data that may be retained

For security and performance analytics purposes, the following completely anonymized data telemetry may remain within our systems:

• Crash analytics and diagnostics logs
• Usage statistics and interaction data
• Ads analytics data

This retained information is completely stripped of personal identifiers and cannot be used to identify you or your partner.

Response time

Your account and associated personal data will be completely deleted within 72 hours of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation response email once the deletion process is complete.

Important

Please note the following system behaviors after account termination takes place:

• You will no longer be able to sign in using Google Sign-In with that account profile.
• Your linked partner will be automatically disconnected, and all shared data, streaks, and memories will be permanently lost for both users.
